We are looking for an experienced leader with a track record of identifying and solving strategic challenges while driving growth and processes.

Ideally you will have experience growing and scaling teams across an organization. 
As Director of Production, you will report directly to the CEO, COO, and business owners. You will have the opportunity to work on transformational projects for this fast growing organization that will help improve the efficiency and effectiveness, guiding the growth and processes of the business. A successful candidate will understand how to shape the big picture for the agency through forecasting, planning, and execution of strategies that achieve measurable metrics for the company. You are someone with a strong POV, a crystal clear communicator, and will maintain a presence in the organization as a strong leader.
Day-to-day, you will lead a team of producers, ensuring they are effectively gathering requirements, fulfilling business needs, and staying on task and on budget, while also managing, reviewing, and upgrading processes for the ultimate team success.This position is responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, company leaders and the organization as a whole. You will be an ambassador for the company and will have direct access to senior leadership. You will work alongside both technical and non-technical resources at all levels of the company, so technical expertise and understanding is a must. While this is a leadership role, you will also manage high profile projects alongside mentorship duties. You will also act as an escalation point for clients and their team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor our team of producers
  • Manage team capacity
  • Record and monitor project budgets, costs and resource allocation
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet requirements
  • Steward client satisfaction
  • Manage and/or assist with high profile clients within the organization
  • Take on tasks or small projects when necessary for successful project completion and to assist the team
  • Provide coverage for producers when a producer is out of office
  • Lead and assist negotiating timelines and budgets with clients
  • Plan, organize and communicate project status and deliverables with stakeholders
  • Onboard new employees within the team
  • Lead the creation and management of best practices for use within the team
  • Create and deliver presentations across the organization
  • Assist in driving internal sales with existing client base
  • Assist and lead estimations with the executive team as well as create estimates (shared responsibility)
  • Partner with team leadership and engage with our clients to develop, sustain, and grow the scope of the business across both organic and new business
  • Steward revenue targets, billability and utilization.
  • Guide our portfolio towards world-class work
  • Develop and implement thought leadership, training materials, process improvements and innovative solutions and services for the company
  • Some travel may be required once travel safely resumes (generally under 10%)
Required Skills & Attributes
  • 12+ years industry experience, including agency-side experience running large engagements with Fortune 500 clients across multiple business sectors
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience working as a technical project or program manager
  • Experience leading project management teams
  • Deep understanding across business transformation, digital products and services, and marketing work types
  • Experience working with a growing team in a fast paced environment
  • Understanding of software development best practices, web development languages and development fundamentals
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with internal and external partners
  • Experience gathering technical requirements from non-technical business users
  • Must be outgoing and able to communication thoughts and ideas effectively

Preferred Skills & Attributes
  • PMI or PMP certification
  • Agile Certification
  • Prior experience working with programming languages
